Warrior’s Path, Physical Culture Seminar – Sarasota FL

July 12 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Warrior’s Path Physical Culture Seminar

This is a rare opportunity to train directly with Sifu Alan Baker, as he rarely teaches this material in a public setting.

This six-hour immersion event is designed to dive deep into the core pillars of the Warrior’s Path Physical Culture Program. While Sifu Alan often integrates segments of this training into other seminars, the overwhelming response has inspired us to bring this full experience to The Martin Academy.

We’ll cover key components of the method throughout the day—and depending on how the training unfolds, we may even go beyond the scheduled time to maximize the experience.

If you’re serious about evolving your physical practice and mindset through the Warrior’s Path, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

The Origins of the Warrior’s Path Physical Culture Program

Sifu Alan Baker has spent decades immersed in the study of multiple Chinese martial arts systems and traditional Qigong, maintaining the mindset of what he calls a perpetual white belt. His lifelong passion for personal evolution led him to aggressively pursue knowledge across disciplines related to self-improvement, physical development, and the maintenance of the human machine.

A professional martial artist since 1990, Sifu Baker has explored and integrated a wide range of martial arts systems throughout his career. Over time, he began weaving together these diverse influences into a single cohesive method—what would eventually become The Warrior’s Path. Drawing from years of teaching, training, and real-world testing, he authored three booksThe Warrior’s Path, Morning Mastery, and The Universal Principles of Change—to lay the philosophical groundwork for the system.

This material has played a pivotal role in Sifu Alan’s recovery journey. After undergoing major shoulder and elbow surgery, the methods taught in the Warrior’s Path—particularly those related to alignment, expansion, breath, and controlled tension—became essential tools in his rehabilitation process. Not only did they accelerate his recovery, but they’ve also allowed him to continue training at a high level in the martial arts and stay active in multiple demanding physical disciplines.

“These principles aren’t just theory—they’re battle-tested in my own body, and they’ve kept me strong, mobile, and capable over the long term.”

~ Sifu Alan

What is the Warrior’s Path Physical Culture Program?

The Warrior’s Path Physical Culture Program is a method of training designed to develop the body as a complete and capable system, blending principles from traditional martial arts, modern strength training, and somatic awareness. Built on decades of experience, this program focuses on five foundational areas of development:

  • Alignment & Posture – Training the body to move with structural integrity, Alignment and internal organization.

  • Expansion & Joint Opening – Reclaiming freedom of movement by decompressing the joints and restoring space in the body.

  • Breath Training – Using breath as a tool for energy regulation, performance, and resilience under stress, we will be learning Sifu’s Full Cycle Breath Systom.

  • Tension & Stress Control – Learning to generate and release tension strategically to build power and maintain balance. This skill relates to your ability to relax the body and to development of strength in the body.

  • Strength Development – Cultivating functional, sustainable strength rooted in posture, breath, and body awareness. One of the key components we’ll cover at this event is developing advanced flexion control within the muscular system, a core element of the Stone Warrior strength development method.

  • Tool Of The Physical Culture TradeWe’ll be working through Sifu’s Phase One Indian Pin Series—a distinctive approach to these powerful tools, rooted in the Warrior’s Path Method. This series is more than just a movement practice; it’s a tool-based body-opening systemthat integrates all the foundational pillars of the program, including alignment, expansion, breath control, and tension management. It’s a unique way to unlock mobility, build structure, and cultivate deeper awareness through motion.

More than just a training system, The Warrior’s Path is a living method—a way to build capability, resilience, and adaptability in the modern world through the wisdom of the past and the tools of today.
