Never Arrive Empty-Handed: A Proper Gentleman’s Guide to Host Gifts
A host gift is a quiet gesture of thanks. It says “I appreciate the invitation” without creating work for the host.
Most of what I share here comes from my teachers over the past 45 years. They were perpetual gentlemen, former military, and high-level martial artists. They took a knuckle-dragging gorilla and taught him etiquette, restraint, and standards. I owe them for the polish as much as the punch.
I believe those qualities are fading in today’s culture. The Gentleman Warrior is my effort to bring them back, a little at a time. You will see a blend of the warrior mindset and a gentleman’s code: discipline, courtesy, clear thinking, and the ability to act when it counts. If that speaks to you, you are in the right place.
