The Method

Keysi Fighting Method is a Spanish urban self protection method built around instinct, adaptability, protective movement, environmental awareness, and personal growth. The training addresses the unpredictable nature of conflict, where distance changes quickly, surroundings matter, and useful decisions must be made while under pressure.
Open To The Public
No instructor goal is required. This focused seminar is for serious students, martial artists, coaches, and members of the public who want an authentic introduction to Keysi through live practice and direct instruction.
Seminar Experience
Two focused hours inside a living method.
The seminar is designed to give participants a clear, physical experience of how Keysi organizes protection, movement, awareness, and adaptation. Specific training content may adjust to the group while remaining connected to the method’s central principles.
Close Range Movement
Work with changing distance, compact movement, angles, and the demands created when space becomes limited.
Environmental Awareness
Recognize how surroundings, direction, obstacles, and available exits influence useful decisions.
Adaptive Problem Solving
Connect movement and observation so responses can change as the training problem develops.
Limited Public Access
One of the few times Alan teaches Keysi in an open public format.
Much of Alan Baker’s Keysi work is dedicated to the official United States program, private instruction, instructor development, and ongoing camps. This seminar creates a focused public entry point for people who want to experience the method directly before deciding how deeply they want to continue.
